TravDigi is the world's first verified digital identity platform for hotel check-ins — available globally from Day 1 across 196 countries. We provide:
You must be at least 18 years of age to register a TravDigi account. By registering you confirm you are 18 or older. Children under 18 may only use TravDigi as dependents under a verified adult's account and cannot hold independent accounts.
You must provide accurate, complete, and truthful information when registering. You must not register using another person's identity, a false identity, or fraudulent documents. Doing so is a serious violation of these Terms and may constitute a criminal offence under applicable laws including the Indian Penal Code and Information Technology Act 2000.
Each person may hold only one TravDigi traveler account. Your name and email address are permanently locked after registration and cannot be changed. Multiple accounts or transfers of accounts are not permitted and will result in immediate termination of all associated accounts.
Hotels registering on TravDigi must be a legally registered business in their jurisdiction, must provide a valid hotel registration licence upon request, and must have the authority to agree to TravDigi's Data Processing Agreement on behalf of the hotel. Any person registering a hotel account confirms they have legal authority to bind the hotel to these Terms.
Traveler registration requires a one-time identity verification — uploading a government-issued ID (passport, national ID, or driving licence) and recording a short live video holding the ID. This verification is reviewed by TravDigi's human verification team. Verification is a one-time process — once verified, you do not need to re-verify at any hotel.
TravDigi reserves the right to approve or reject any registration at its sole discretion. Rejection will be communicated by email. Rejected applicants may reapply with corrected documentation. TravDigi does not guarantee approval of any registration.
Any change to your profile — including document updates, photo changes, or addition of dependents — triggers automatic QR suspension and requires re-verification before your QR is reinstated.
TravDigi monitors document expiry dates. When your registered document is approaching expiry, you will receive notification to update it. Expired documents result in QR suspension until a valid document is re-verified.
Verified adults may add children under 18 as dependents under their account for family travel. Dependents do not hold independent accounts and their data is managed through the adult account holder's account.
Hotels register through the TravDigi hotel portal by providing hotel details, owner information, and staff account details. Account activation requires submission of a valid hotel registration licence and acceptance of TravDigi's Data Processing Agreement. The hotel portal is available to all hotel types globally — hotels, hostels, resorts, guesthouses, and Airbnbs.
Hotel owners are responsible for creating and managing staff accounts, assigning appropriate access levels, and removing access promptly when staff members leave or change roles. TravDigi is not responsible for any actions taken by staff members using accounts created by hotel owners.
Hotels are responsible for maintaining the security of their portal login credentials. TravDigi is not liable for any loss or damage arising from unauthorised access to hotel accounts due to credential compromise by the hotel or its staff.
Verified travelers receive a dynamic QR code that rotates every 60 seconds and is usable exactly once per check-in. The QR code is cryptographically invalidated after each scan. TravDigi makes no guarantee that all hotels in all locations will accept TravDigi QR check-in — hotel adoption is voluntary.
The TravDigi traveler QR code is generated locally on the traveler's device and functions without internet connectivity. This allows check-in at remote locations with poor or no internet signal.
TravDigi provides hotels with a digital guest register that records check-in and check-out timestamps and guest identity references. Hotels using TravDigi are not required to maintain a separate paper register for guests checked in through TravDigi, subject to confirmation of applicable local law in each jurisdiction. Each hotel is responsible for verifying the compliance requirements of their specific jurisdiction.
Hotels may check in guests without the TravDigi app by collecting basic guest details through the hotel portal. Walk-in guests will receive an email notification with an invitation to activate a full TravDigi account. The notification email includes an unsubscribe option.
Hotels may generate watermarked, timestamped PDF compliance reports for submission to police, immigration, or other legal authorities. Reports are generated on demand. All compliance reports include TravDigi's watermark, timestamp, and unique audit reference.
Registered travelers can view their complete personal check-in history through the TravDigi app. This history is visible only to the traveler and to no other party including TravDigi administration.
The hotel portal includes a basic property management system (PMS) with guest history, date-wise search, and reporting functionality. This is included in the hotel subscription at no additional charge.
TravDigi aims to maintain 99% service availability but does not guarantee uninterrupted service. Scheduled maintenance, emergency downtime, and circumstances beyond TravDigi's control may result in temporary service interruption. TravDigi will communicate planned downtime in advance where possible.
You agree not to use TravDigi for any of the following:
TravDigi reserves the right to introduce optional premium features for travelers in the future. Any such features will be clearly communicated in advance and will not affect the core free check-in functionality which remains free permanently.
All hotels receive a 3-month free trial period from the date of account activation. No payment is required during this period. No credit card is required to activate the free trial. Hotels may cancel at any time during the free period with no charges.
After the free period, Indian hotels are charged an annual subscription fee based on property size. Revenue is subscription only — hotels are never charged per check-in or per guest.

Current international pricing is available at www.travdigi.com or by contacting hello@travdigi.com. International pricing is subject to regional purchasing power adjustments.
Subscriptions do not auto-renew automatically. TravDigi will send renewal reminder emails 30 days and 7 days before subscription expiry. Non-renewal results in account suspension at expiry. Data is retained for 30 days post-expiry — hotels may renew and regain access within this period.
Annual subscription fees are non-refundable after activation. Please use the 3-month free trial period to fully evaluate TravDigi before subscribing. For full details of our refund and cancellation policy please visit travdigi.com/refund-policy.html.
TravDigi reserves the right to modify subscription pricing with 30 days notice. Price changes apply at the next renewal and do not affect the current subscription period. Hotels will be notified by email of any price changes.
TravDigi operates a Country Partner and State Partner programme allowing individuals and businesses to grow TravDigi in their exclusive territory in exchange for commission on hotel subscriptions.
Any individual or business entity may apply to become a TravDigi partner. TravDigi approves partner applications at its sole discretion. One partner per country or state territory — first approved partner receives exclusivity.
Partner commission rates are specified in the individual Partner Agreement signed between TravDigi and each partner. Commission is paid monthly based on verified hotel registrations in the partner's territory. TravDigi reserves the right to modify commission rates with 30 days notice.
All partners are bound by a Non-Disclosure Agreement covering TravDigi's business plans, pricing, hotel contact information, technical architecture, and all other confidential business information. This obligation continues for 2 years after the partnership ends.
TravDigi may terminate any partner agreement with 30 days notice for non-performance or immediately for breach of confidentiality, misrepresentation, or conduct damaging to TravDigi's reputation.

TravDigi is not liable for any loss or damage arising from the actions of hotels, hotel staff, law enforcement authorities, or any third party who accesses data through TravDigi under lawful authority.
TravDigi provides tools to assist hotels with compliance. TravDigi is not responsible for ensuring any specific hotel meets all applicable hospitality laws in their jurisdiction. Each hotel remains responsible for its own legal compliance including physical face and ID cross-verification where required by local law.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, TravDigi's total liability to any traveler is limited to INR 1,000. TravDigi's total liability to any hotel is limited to the subscription fees paid by that hotel in the 12 months preceding the claim.
Nothing in these Terms limits TravDigi's liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.
Travelers may deactivate their account at any time through the app settings or by emailing hello@travdigi.com. Hotels may cancel their subscription by emailing hello@travdigi.com — access continues until end of the current subscription year. Data export is available before account deactivation on request.
TravDigi may suspend or terminate any account immediately and without notice if the user violates these Terms, provides false information, misuses the platform, or if required by law or legal authority.
Upon account deactivation or termination, access to TravDigi services is immediately disabled. Data is handled as described in our Privacy Policy — check-in records and compliance data are retained as required by applicable law. Account deactivation does not constitute deletion of compliance records which are retained under legal obligation.
TravDigi reserves the right to refuse service to any hotel or traveler at its sole discretion, including where TravDigi reasonably suspects misuse, fraud, or legal risk.
TravDigi will comply with lawful requests from courts, law enforcement, or government authorities for access to user data where required by applicable law. TravDigi will disclose only the minimum data necessary to satisfy the legal requirement.

Where legally permitted, TravDigi will make reasonable efforts to notify users of legal requests for their data before complying, unless prohibited from doing so by law or court order.
TravDigi cooperates with law enforcement authorities in all jurisdictions where it operates in accordance with applicable international laws, mutual legal assistance treaties, and applicable data protection frameworks.
